Tony Jee

Tony Jee is ICONZ new Development Manager for the Northern Region.  He hails from Surrey in the UK but has lived here in NZ for the best part of the last 20 years.  He’s married a North Shore girl who teaches year one kids in Stanmore Bay.  Tony & Sarah have two sons who both attend College. 

Tony has been a Chaplain and Pastor for the last ten years, but after a recent youth camp felt the call to new horizons. This role is his new horizon.  While the job title and location have changed, the proposition is still the same; encouraging folks on the journey of faith in Christ and opening up possibilities to meet Christ through relationship. 

Tony has a passion for education, faith, and families.  He gained a Bachelor of Ministry at Laidlaw College and is currently studying for a Masters in qualitative research at BTI.  He also loves music, sport, and cooking.   

The vision that Tony holds for BBNZ Icons is simple. He sees the historical roots of the organization, the trunk of current units and the branches of new growth into churches and schools.  To bring this tree to life will require the Holy Spirit to impact a vast network of Leaders, principles, and lads who desire the transformational experience of Christ in their lives. His prayer is that God will continue to guide and support us in this mission and that we would see growth and harvest as God leads us into this new season.
